Bella's 2 month check-up

Sleeping after her appointment full of pokes and prods.
Looking straight at me and having a conversation with mommy.

I caught her laughing which is the cutest thing. Sometime I'll post a video of her giggle. It'll melt your heart.

She had her 2 month check-up on Monday and she is officially growing like her brother. She is skinny and tall. Her stats are 10 pounds 2.5 ounces, she is 23 1/2 inches long, and her head is almost 39 cm. She is 30% for weight, 85% for height, and 30% for her head size. Her height to weight percentage is less than 5%. The only difference Bella has with her growth from Christian is she has a smaller head, other than that she is long and skinny just like him.
We love this little girl so much and we are very glad she is growing and developing good.

Another School Year!

Oh how the time flies, my little Laney started kindergarten this morning. She was so excited, bouncing around and eating her breakfast so fast so we could get to school sooner. She's such a silly girl.
Laney all lined up and ready to enter her classroom with excitement.

Her standing in front of her school with the funniest expression.

All three girls ready for the school day. Alexis and Kaleigh actually started last week, but I wanted a picture of all three in front of their school. So cute, and unbelievable that I have all three girls in school now. Wow!

Alexis on her first day with her new classmates.

Sweet Kaleigh waiting in her school line to go into her new classroom. She's in a portable this year and thinks it's the coolest thing. Gotta love her.

Bella's Blessing

We blessed our sweet Bella Georgia today and had a lovely party for her afterwards. We had family over, minus the few that live out of state-who were missed, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Bella took some very cute pictures today. I actually caught her smile in this one, which I absolutely adore. She is really just how her name says, she is beautiful.
This one I love also. She just looks like a pretty doll.

Here's my sweet cutie pie getting ready to talk. She makes a lot of cooing noises now and will talk to you when you start talking to her.

This is the cute cake that her daddy got for her party. It's absolutely adorable. Church, food, and bingo fun was had by all. We missed you-Brad, Emmy, Gabe, Betsy, Blake, Jenny, Abby, and Hallie. We hope to see you guys soon, and if not soon we'll see you at Christmas.

Nursing Bliss and Big Boy Choo-Choo Pants

We have had quite the exciting week in our house. I have been stressed out a ton at poor little Bella's slow weight gain due to the jaundice. Thankfully the jaundice is now finally all out of her system and we have just been watching her weight gain over the past 3 weeks. The doctor had ordered us to take Bella in every week to weigh her until she could finally gain an ounce a day and I'm happy to say she finally has. The jaundice was making it hard for her to keep the weight because she was just flushing it all out of her body, but she finally gained 9 ounces this past week putting her at a nice 9 1/2 pounds. She still looks really skinny because she has also grown 2 inches in a month. But yay baby Bella. Doctor trips are now over unless it's a well-child visit. FINALLY!
Our other exciting event is we finally have our boy in his big boy pants! We have been struggling with potty training since he turned 3, which was 9 months ago. He came upstairs last Thursday and declared he wanted to sit on his hop hop ( his frog potty) and go pee pee. Well he did, and his diaper was dry. He continued this all day, not having one accident. He got to wear his big boy pants over the weekend and was so proud of himself. He's having a hard time with #2 potty, but we'll eventually get that down too. I'm just glad to have another kid out of diapers. We now only have Noah and Bella left, yay! What will I do when I have no kids in diapers, enjoy my soft hands again since I won't be washing them a ton a day.

An amazing look out our window!

Right side of the beautiful rainbow.
Left side of the beautiful rainbow.
Somewhere over the rainbow- you'll find happiness in the eyes of children who have never seen an entire rainbow from one end to another. Not to mention my husband yelling and gasping for me to come and see.

Fourth of July

Sweet Bella in her 4th of July outfit.
Kaleigh and Laney in their dresses for the holiday.

The three older girls in their outfits on the way out for our festivities. We went to Evergreen Park to eat breakfast, watch a parade, and play carnival games. Unfortunately, I forgot to take anymore pictures of the day. The kids had fun. They had pancakes, eggs, and potatoes, drank juice, said hi to grandma and grandpa, then went off the play games. They won so many prizes and suckers. They had a blast. We went over to Eric's folks house for dinner and had some fun. The kids were pooped after a couple of hours so we headed home. We put the kids to bed and I heard the neighborhood fireworks and called it a day. It was busy, but we had a blast.

Bella's first month

Sweet Bella looking right at me. I just love that little face. She's gaining slowly, but at least she is now gaining. She now weighs 9 pounds. It's been slow going due to the jaundice, but the jaundice is starting to go away now. YAY!
Bella trying to make cute little cooing noises.

So precious! Sleeping like a little angel.

Wide awake and ready to play!

First time in the big tub for a lovely bath. She just loves bathtime.
