Snow, snow, and more snow FUN!

As we were leaving our house in the morning our lovely little Laney claimed she did not want to go sledding, but once we arrived at the snow filled hills she ran out hopped on her sled and went flying down the hill. You couldn't stop her or get her off that sled. When we were finally leaving for the day Daddy had to carry her off, because she didn't want to stop the fun. It was a fun day all in all. We will definately go sledding more and more and maybe Mommy will actually attempt her first sledding day. Although it won't be down any big hills, because the baby might not enjoy it as much.
Kaleigh enjoying everything and everyone. Loving going down on her tummy and spinning around on her sled. Smiles abounding from this little girl as she dared her older sister to more and more crazy stunts.

Our oldest, and most serious child, enjoying the sledding so much that she forgot she was suppose to remain so SERIOUS. It was a blast seeing her act like her kid age. She didn't want to stop. She went backwards, forwards, head first, and spinning all morning down the hills.

The littl one of the bunch, however, did not enjoy being on a sled by himself. He only liked the sledding if he was sitting with Daddy. He did laugh and scream watching his brother and sisters go down the hills.

The kids have never been sledding before so this year we decided to take them. They had a blast and we actually had to tell them to stop when it was time to go. My kids are real daredevils, they kept going off these really high hills and bumps head first and backwards. It was a blast to see them all, even the oldest, act like giddy kids.

More pictures of the elves

We finally got all the kids in a picture by the elves. They just love their posing, can you tell?

Our cute little boys enjoying being outdoors and looking at all the elves.

Our visit to the Elves

We decided to visit the elves at Gardner Village with the kids. We try and do it every year, this year we were later than usual because of bad weather. The kids absolutely love trying to find the kids in the elves hunt. They were pretending to dance to the elves' music.

Merry Christmas to All!

I decided to get an updated picture of all the kids this year. I will, however, never do it alone again. I took all the kids to kiddie kandids thinking it would be quick and painless. I knew the boys would be hard to get a smile from, but the girls would be a piece of cake. Whoa was I ever wrong at that. After about an hour and a half, and about 80 shots we finally walked out with about four pictures. My lovely boys had smiled in all of their photos, but my girls were just not having it. It was like pulling teeth from them to get them to smile. However, with the Christmas card and their lovely Disney ears they took the cutest pictures. So here you all go, from our family to yours, we hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Crazy visit to Santa

We decided to go and visit Santa last night at Southtowne Center. The kids were excited and so was I. I love seeing the kids faces light up when they see Santa. I also have Santa pics through the last 8 years with the kids. Little did I know that we wouldn't be getting one this year. After waiting for an hour to see Santa, we got to the front only to find out from one of Santa's helpers we were NOT allowed to take our own picture with our camera unless we purchased something. I couldn't believe it. We have never had to do that before. Well the cheapest thing was $15 dollars, so we weren't having it. So we just took a picture of the kids by one of Santa's trees instead. All in all, the kids still enjoyed seeing Santa and I learned that even Santa has been merchandised. How sad, but the kids were Happy.

Christmas Blessings

Hey there! I'm new at this, but I decided I wanted to try it. I just love Christmas time with all the lights, songs, and giddy children. We are enjoying our children and their amazement of all the sights and sounds of Christmas. We also are enjoying our bit of news.
WE ARE EXPECTING OUR 7TH, YES 7TH CHILD!
To say the least, we are very excited and can't wait until this spring. Our little one is due somewhere around the end of May or beginning of June. We just thought we would share our happiness with you and hope you all have a WONDERFUL, JOYFUL, CHRISTMAS SEASON!
