Kids Playing at the Park

My sweet Logan having a blast on the swings. My MIL took the kids to the park after bringing them to the hospital the day we had Bella. The kids all love the park, and because of my bed rest orders we haven't spent many days at the park.

Noah just absolutely looks adorable in this bucket swing. I'm actually surprised he likes it. He usually hates being put in the swings, but here he looks like he is enjoying it.

The best picture my MIL took of the kids. They all look so happy and like they are having so much fun. It's kind of sad looking at this picture, because they are all so big now. I guess the saying is true, time does fly when you are having fun! I love to look at them all and see what I have done over the years. They are all my pride and joy and I love them all to the moon and back!

Happy Birthday Christian!

Christian Eric Hansen, born June 12th, 2000, was the cutest "little" baby boy. He was my quickest and easiest labor and my biggest child. He just couldn't wait to come out and live with us. All the nurses and doctor said for such a big baby he came shooting out like a torpedo. Here he is just under 2 months, the day of his blessing. Proud daddy, holding his sweet baby.
These are just a couple of pictures of his last birthday. He got to go to Disneyland, thanks to Make-A-Wish, for his 4th birthday. He had a blast, especially meeting his favorite characters and heroes. Who can say they met all their heroes at once. He met them all on this trip. It was one of the best moments for us to see his eyes light up when he met Goofy.

Of course, we couldn't go to Disneyland and not see Mickey. Christian just adored everything and we took a ton of pictures, because we wanted to savor the good times. He was loved and adored by all and though most our family didn't get to go those that did had a blast.

And here is one great picture to sum up Christian. He always had a smile and a laugh for everyone, everyday. Here he was goofing around pretending to be Eric. He also had put daddy's shoes on too. With a grin from ear to ear, he said look I'm Daddy.
He was the sweetest little boy and I take great pride in calling him my son. We miss him dearly and it gets a little harder as the days pass and we realize how old he would be and imagine what he would be doing. He would be so happy to have brothers and a new baby sister who shares his birth month. He never got to have brothers here, but he loved his sisters so much. We love him and think of him often and want to wish him a Happy Birthday. I wish he was here, but soon we'll meet again and I can hug him and kiss him all I want. So till we meet again my Mr. C. I love you to the moon and back again!

Bringing Bella Home

Our sweet Bella Georgia in her going home outfit on Friday morning.
She's starting to get a little camera shy. So sweet!

She's very alert and wide eyed when she's awake. She has big eyes just like her big brother, Logan. She is a real mixture of all the kids. Her mouth and chin is like Kaleigh, she has eyes like Logan, and she has my nose just like all of the other kids. That's seven for seven little darlings. We couldn't be happier. It's crazy, but nothing else would be better than our sweet seven.

And Now Introducing

Our adorable new addition: Bella Georgia Hansen, born at 8:07 a.m. on June 2nd 2009. She weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. She is such a cute little girl and very healthy. All the concerns the doctors had over her are non-existent. She's perfect and stayed out of the NICU. The C-section went great and we both are home now and enjoying our time together.
She reminds us of a little doll. She's very quiet and calm unless she wants to eat and then she lets her presence be known by howling until she has food in her tummy. The kids all love and adore her. They are all very protective of her. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for us. We appreciate it and are very grateful that we both are good and healthy. More pictures to come later.

Last Day Pregnant!

Okay, so can I just scream from the mountaintop. I'm so glad to be done, well in about 18 hours. This pregnancy has been hard for me and everyone around me. I'll be glad when I can see our little girl and know she is healthy, hopefully. We know she's going to be a big one, which is shocking since I'm 2 weeks early. She is coming in at 42 cm in length( which means about 21-22 inches) and they think somewhere between 8 1/2 - 9#. It's good that she's coming early, although Eric and I think they might have the date wrong.

We hope she will stay out of the NICU, which she has a good chance since she's coming in so big, and that recovery will be without any hitches for me. Keep your fingers crossed for us. We are so excited to be adding and according to Eric, ending our family. We have been looking forward to this day and scared of it for awhile now. We thank you to all those who have helped us physically and spriritually with the prayers. We greatly appreciate it. Take care and we'll update next with baby news!
